About Tami-Who I am and what I believe in. The Real Deal.
During my quest to discover my true self, I began looking at my own life and the choices that have led me to where I am today. I became committed to learning about how to feel really good about myself regardless of what others thought about me or what circumstances were going on in my life. That didn’t mean I walked around being arrogant. Instead, it meant learning how to be consistently true to myself and learn how to truly appreciate myself on a daily basis. No longer wanting to be seen as a skinny girl with long legs and braces, (eek! my middle school years…) I knew it was going to be up to me to once and for all to begin accepting myself. even if that meant accepting the parts I didn’t like very much.
It also meant being willing to improve areas I felt weren’t working in my life such as the guys I chose to date in high school and even after.
I realize now, that I have been on a journey of self-love and though that might sound weird, it is the one thing that has really made me realize how important it is be proud of who I am and the choices I have made in my life.
Now through this website and Teen Wisdom programs, I am passionate about sharing powerful information to help you feel great about yourself (yes, that means accepting yourself here and now!!) so that you lead a very happy life! Just so you know:
It is my mission to serve as a positive role model
by coaching young women to realize that self-honor,
self-acceptance and service to others equals true wisdom.
I recognized the need to assist girls to reach the 2 life goals I hold most important: becoming your best self, and positively affecting others’ lives. As “Life Coach” for thousands of young girls just like you, I promise to help you achieve higher levels of self-confidence, personal leadership, and compassion for others as you grow out of girlhood and into womanhood.
It has been said by many of the young women that I have worked with in my career, that my thought provoking and open and inspirational style, mixed with my life experience and youth, enable me to establish great relationships with teenage girls and and connect with you in a way that let’s you know, I get who you are!
I will be making my television debut on the upcoming teen program Pajamarama” as the on air life coach to teen girls. And my newest book, ”The Did Wells Journal for Girls” is available now by contacting me directly at tam@teenwisdom.com
And, just in case you’re curious (or if your parents want to know,) I went to UCLA for college and then I also earned a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Loyola.
